In-Stock, Custom Design, and Special Order FAQ

Love what you found online or in our studio, but looking to put your own distinct touch on it? We can help with that!

At EC Design we specialize in customized jewelry and one-of-a-kind pieces. In addition to our full selection of ready-to-wear rings, we LOVE making unique to you, custom creations. Not ready to design your own but you’d like to make a slight variation to one of our signature pieces? We can do that too with a special order.

From in-stock to special order, there are 4 ways to shop. Let’s discuss which one is right for you, shall we?

1) In-Stock Our studio and online shop are packed with ready-to-wear jewelry. These items can be shipped as is or sized to fit (for a small fee). In-stock jewelry is exchangeable for Studio Credit Only within 14 days of the receipt. NO CASH RETURNS

2) Made to Order** Our Made to Order collection features our best selling simple bands, low dome bands, and diamond bands. You pick your preferred style, finish, metal, and ring size and we'll get to work! Each ring will be handmade to order and ready in 4-6 weeks.

3) Custom** We pull out all the stops for custom work! You get to select all of the elements for your custom creation from the design style, to the metals, the textures, and the stones. We will discuss it all when you meet with us personally whether on Zoom or in our NE Minneapolis studio and showroom to discuss your life, work, and jewelry needs.

4) Special Order** Have you seen a piece in our studio that you love, but prefer to have minor modifications made. For example, you love a diamond solitaire but want a different band width, or a different texture; that is generally considered a Special Order and does not have to meet our $2000 minimum for custom work. This option is perfect for wedding bands, where we are only making minimal changes to the original design.
